First the good: my technician called prior to arriving, arrived right on time, and was very professional in explaining what he intended to do for the first treatment. He answered my questions and I had full confidence that everything would go well. Now the bad: I pointed out three wasp tunnels by our front door. Although I have not seen activity there, the technician advised he would knock them down and take care of them. He didn't do this and the tunnels are still currently in place. Additionally, the gate to my backyard was left open and, had I not checked, my dog would have escaped into the neighborhood. I was not home unfortunately when the technician came to perform my service but when I returned home, I walked around the house to inspect. In clear view I noticed spider webs still around the base of my house, around the water spigot and numerous other areas. The card that was left had the “De-web Performed” box checked - so what the hell did Timothy de-web?!?!? I can to call the office and sit on hold for 20 min in order to schedule another appointment for this to get taken care of. Not a real great impression given this was the first service call following my initial appointment.

While he seems to have efficiently covered the house, he left my backyard gate open and my dogs could have run out into our busy street! That is unacceptable! He also didn't even knock on the door. Now, with Covid-19 and all, I understand staying back and all but with every other person who has come to the house, they always at least knock and let me know they are about to provide the service.

I am so upset right now I had a technician come out on Monday in the storm. I asked how he could do my service in the downpour of rain. He told me product worked with pouring rain and spiders removed. Since then I have more spider webs than before he serviced the house. He could not find wasp or hornet nest since the wind was blowing and said probably blew away. On Wednesday I saw the wasp or hornet nest and called Aptive and had to wait until Friday I have requested that I the technician always knock on my door before coming doing any work and specified to the customer service agent who took my phone call.
