Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I filed a claim and you set it up for July 2 they came but wanted me to pay 50 dollars for parts that you wouldn’t pay them and I said no I’m only paying for the 75.00 . They said they would take their parts off, I tried to call you and was put on call back with all stuff going on I called you again and choice number 1which was sells and I knew it but knew someone would nswer. They did I went to tell him what was wrong and I needed help he hung up on me , I called back and told him do not hang up on me he said watch me and did again. No way to treat customers that needs help with people you sent. And I never got a call back
In the middle of one of the hottest summers on record. My A/C went out a week ago. Yesterday, July 2,2025. Technician Robert Channell arrived at my home and within 30 minutes it was repaired. I paid my contractual deductible and thanked him over and over. He was pleasant, polite, professional, personable. Thank you for your due diligence, Sincerely, Jay
It took a few days longer than I would have expected, but once the technician came, he fixed the problem quickly and professionally.

Choice is okay BUT I specifically asked asked about coverage for my sprinkler system with very specific questions. I was told when I requested sprinkler coverage that a certain part would be covered and when it failed Choice denied the claim. Also Choice said they would set me up with a "deal" since they denied my claim. The Choice company's quote was $650 to make the repair versus $350 from 2 competing firms. I will be moving to another warranty company August 29, 2025.
The service tech was professional and very knowledgeable of my GE dishwasher. He repaired what the last technician could not. I paid the deductible last time and it was not repaired.
This last service tech who came yesterdsy was excellent. He was a GE qualified individual, made all the difference.
Easy to setup the appointment. The response time was immediate and the flexible scheduling was very helpful for me .
