Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I wasn’t sure if having home warranty insurance was right for me. I was very cautious about enrolling in fact, but thought I would give it a try. It seemed too good to be true. I had my first claim when my washing machine began to malfunction, I submitted a claim on-line and received an email about a service person coming the next day. Texts were sent informing me of their arrival time and they showed up very near the time they projected. The service person was professional and fixed the problem within twenty minutes. I am so glad that I did this. No regrets now only peace of mind.
The process to report a claim is very simple and the communication of claim status is very fast.
The technician was knowledgeable, courtesy, and helpful. He was prompt, and cleaned up after himself.
AC wasn't cooling. Filed a claim and Choice sent someone out the following day (Just Cooling). Easy process overall!
