Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Choice Home Warranty offers existing homeowners two plans, each of which cover a mix of systems and appliances. The primary difference between its Total plan and its Basic plan is that refrigerators, washers and dryers, and air conditioning systems are not included in the Basic Plan. Optional coverage for such items as pools and spas, well pumps, and septic systems is available for an additional fee. We requested a quote for a single family home of less than 5000 square feet in a small midwestern city. The premium for Choice Home Warranty's Basic was $47.85 per month and the premium for its Total pan was $54.95 per month. With the cost difference between the two plans being only about $7 per month, to our mind, the Total plan a better value overall because it includes coverage for three of the most common appliances: refrigerators, washers, and dryers. It also includes coverage for air conditioning systems.

The company's co-pay for a service call is $85, slightly less than most comparable companies. The co-pay may be reduced further with special discounts and promotions.

Cancellation Policy

The contract shall be non-cancelable by the company except for nonpayment of contract fees or service fees, fraud or misrepresentation of facts by the customer, or by agreement between client and company. Customers may cancel within the first 30 days of the order date for a full refund of the paid contract fees. If canceled after 30 days, the customer shall be entitled to a pro rata refund of the paid contract fee for the unexpired term, less a $50 administrative fee and any service costs incurred by the company.

Choice Home Warranty is a sham Triumphant at cheating their customers. Please don't fall victims to the false and insincere information about HVAC coverage that Choice home warranty displays on their webpage. Our AC unit failed and choice warranty made up stories of a possible power surge to deny our claim even after 3 different technicians clearly stated the cause of AC failure was a grounded compressor which could be because of weather or manufacturing defect or even just spontaneous failure. And yet Choice home warranty just stuck to this made up story so as to use it as a clause for claim denial. They also will just avoid picking your calls once a claim adjuster has been assigned for... Have been with Choice Home Warranty for almost a year, and have always been pleased with the companies that are associated with them, however, my last experience was exceptional! I had called on Saturday afternoon with an issue with our AC unit. We had an appointment set for Monday morning with Bri-Tech Heating & Cooling. On Sunday morning, I received a call from Bri-Tech, saying that they could come out if I was available, rather than waiting until Monday! That was OUTSTANDING customer service by Bri- Tech for being so caring of a customers needs, and of Choice Home Warranty for selecting such reputable companies like Bri-Tech, to be associated with.

CHW responded quickly and had Jas appliance at my house within a few days and they did an excellent job. I thought my broiler wasn't working but it worked fine when he was checked it out so I must have done something wrong. I had a burner on my stove top that wasn't lighting and he cleaned up The sparker and then it worked fine. Ras appliance was an excellent choice they were very professional and answered all my questions, they did a great job.

I was with your company for three years. Anytime I claim for any issue, your company always send a technician. Technician will come to our home, check the problem, then he will go out of the house, talk to someone from your company and come back and say, the issue are not covered with the warranty. They chare me $45.00 and go. Last issue was about my kitchen faucet. In my home most my appliances are fairly new. I never use old appliances and took advantage of the home warranty. Then, I have go back and forth and fight with Customer Service and resolve the problem. 50% of the issues are covered by your company, rest are not. High pressure sales, makes promises about waved wait period and then when you call back they hang up. Called daily to sign up, then when asked about promises they hang up. If something fails you have to prove it was working first.
