Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

A+ service fast turnaround fixed my Ac unit within a day
My furnace was not working properly. It was 20 degrees outside and the temperature dropped quickly in the house. I put in a service claim with Choice Home Warranty and had the technician was out within the hour and fixed the furnace
I love Choice Home Warranty. As a single girl homeowner they have come to my rescue many times. I have tried other home warranties but for the price, excellent service and coverage Choice Warranty is the best for me!
The service person from Protech - Jeff Thompson, arrived when he said he would, courteous, cheerful, left everything clean and most of all did a good job. I would highly reccommend his service.
Supper fast and helpful
Choice Home warranty responded in a timely manner considering the time of year my request was initiated. My request was placed during the holiday season over a weekend and was resolved within 2 days (the next available business day).
Just cancelled this warranty. They try to get out of paying for anything!!! Every claim the repair people they would send never fixed the problem and would have to come back and on 2 separate claims 4 occasions were no shows and had to send a different company both times.
It is a big time scam!! They promised better coverage than American Home Shield and made me pay upfront for three years. Now that they have my money, they don't care about anything. I had a small $100 claim for Air Conditioning and they did not cover it without giving any reason. Their Vendor threatened me to send in the police if I don't pay.
Now my water Heater has some normal leakage from the inlets and outlets and they will not cover it. The Vendor has asked for $900 to replace the tank. They want me to read the contract, no matter what the Sales Person promised.
They have a slippery way of getting around paying for any high cost items. I recommend that you get a copy of their contract and read it carefully before signing up with them. They are just out for your money and do not pay for anything. Our first two claims were denied for our heater and our water heater. If you want peace of mind, this is NOT the company for you!
