Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I have worked as a plumbing vendor for many home warranty companies in the past 10 years. If you are wanting to become a vendor for choice home warranty, or if your a customer looking for a home warranty company I would suggest to keep looking. On multiple accounts I have submitted diagnosis of a plumbing issue and they will contact the customer and deny the claim. Then they throw the plumber under the buss stating that they denied the claim because of some bogus issue that I never submitted. This leads to customers thinking that the plumber is Lying about the issue. Under no circumstances would I recommend anyone deal with this company. On very minor items, their performance is adequate. On major items, like an air conditioner, their record is atrocious. I have 3 air conditioners. Air conditioner #1 quit cooling. Repair company showed up, asked me what was wrong, stood and looked at the outside unit, never did any diagnosis. Said it was broken and that I needed a new unit. Did not even check refrigerant level. CHW denied the claim because the technician reported "debris" on the outside unit. I called a repair company I have confidence in. Technician said the only problem was that the unit was low on refrigerant. $150 (plus the $60 service... Read More
I paid extra for septic system coverage; now that the system needs to be replaced, I'm told by the rep that Choice only covers the septic if it backs up into my home. So, after the house is trashed, I can get $200 bucks for the pumping, and the septic system failure is not covered. I'm cancelling. I do not recommend this company.
I was very pleased with the service I received. I placed the claim and the stove was fixed within 24 hours of calling. The service man was early and very courteous and professional. I hope is I have other issues with appliances I get him again. Doing a HAPPY DANCE!
Diamond HVAC was very prompt and arrived within two hours of our initial call to set an appointment. The service man was professional, extremely knowledgeable, well dressed, and fully explained his service. Highly recommend them.
I called Choice Home Warranty regarding a problem with the toilet. Within 10 minutes they called me back, and emailed me, to give me the name and phone number of a plumber. Within 20 minutes the plumber called me to schedule the appointment. The plumber was wonderful, prompt, and courteous.He did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend this plumber and Choice Home Warranty again.
