I was planning a trip with my wife starting September 7, 2024 and ending September 24,2024. I purchased trip insurance policy on June 4, 2024 as soon as I bought the airline tickets and resort. Air lines cancel 9/7/2024 flight and issued tickets for September 9, 2024 with return date of 9/26/2024. Morning of September 9, 2024 my wife became sick. We went to doctor’s office and were told that my wife has a virus and ear infection. Doctor stated that flight will be vey painful for my wife and we had to cancel our trip. This company has the worst possible communication
I filed a claim the last of July and never heard from anyone. Despite multiple calls and left messages I still didn't receive a return call. By mid Sept. I have just recently been able to speak to a supervisor who confirms they are in receipt of all necessary information to make a decision on my claim but state this will take another 2 weeks. I am a recently diagnosed cancer patient in chemo. The added stress of trying to get a refund for weeks, on a trip that hD to be canceled is unbelievable
This is a great insurance company that covered all my medical expenses for a year after my accident.
The agent I spoke with to purchase this policy was Justine. Very knowledgeable about many policy's and their coverage. Her patience and kindness exceeded her knowledge. Thank you for all the expert agents and the really "special" ones.

Better price and coverage than others for my age group. Use of website was easy. However, a look at policy caused concern as coverage begins immediately rather than end of September when actual travel takes place. Does this invalidates coverage after end of travel date?

We’ve traveled and used coverage with Generali before with our 2018 Philippines trip. The experience has always been seamless. Navigating the site is fairly intuitive and the language used is comprehensible. All documentation we required were sent electronically. We had an incident while we were there, and the claim intake/submission was easy to complete. We’re using Generali again to cover us on an upcoming trip to the Mexican Riviera. The peace of mind is well worth the value. We can’t imagine not having Generali coverage in all future travels.
Went smooth. My only question is whether a pdf with insurance cards will be sent. In the past, with other travel insurance, that was standard procedure. We would print out the cards and laminate them. We would like to each be carrying an insurance card on the trip. I have searched the system and what was sent but have not seen them. Otherwise, so far, it has been easy to navigate the application process. The real proof will be what happens if we need the insurance. My hope is that we won’t.

After purchasing a travel insurance from Generali I have following issues:
1. I have created an account and also successfully verified my email address. Then I tried to log in, but it was in vain: I was being returned to the home page again and again.
2. In Schedule of Benefits followed after Policy Confirmation Letter my wife as insured person is noted twice but me (an applicant) is missed at all.
We are a group of ladies going on vacation and I have recommended Generali to all of them. They have purchased as well. Thank you for giving us peace of mind as we begin our adventures.
I have tried multiple times to log into my account information. However, after signing in the page goes to the home page and asks me to sign in again. After signing in AGAIN AND AGAIN only the home page comes up with nothing showing for account.
This was my first experience with Generali. I am extremely pleased with my contact person's explanations and patience. I will not hesitate to use them again.
