Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

Too early for anything better. I’m still waiting for you to approve the work order to get our air conditioner working. Very poor service.

I was very pleased, and pleasantly surprised, by the speed which my claim got taken care of. In just over an hour from the time I filed my claim until the assigned repair company called to confirm the appointment for service.
Technician had me sign a blank invoice-He said he does not have to fill it. I would have appreciated to have him write the diagnosis and fill in what he did with actual cost. THANK YOU.
The scheduling tech was awesome! He was attentive, efficient and ready to help. My call was answered promptly!

The technician from Air Right has been fantastic, he has followed up with us every day, sometimes twice a day. I have no complaints about the technician. I do however, have a complaint about the time frame about the replacement of the air handler. We have now been without air conditioning for 6 days & it doesn't look like it is going to be fixed in the next few days. We live in the south where the heat indexes have been over 100 degrees. Also, no itemized statement has ever been given showing the cost, the type unit to be installed or anything. We have a Trane & do not know what it will be replaced with. While the technician that came out to repair our freezer was superb, and the customer support rep was excellent, I was told that they would replace my unit. However, I am disappointed the amount they agreed to provide is only about half of what a new comparable freezer costs.

We are new to Choice Home Warranty. On July 10, we filed a claim because the A/C servicing the upper floor was not blowing cold air. CHW assigned a contractor the next day for a July 21 appointment - 11 days from the claim submission date. So we were without an A/C for 11 days during 90 degree weather. The contractor came as scheduled on July 21, and diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. So we were very satisfied with the service provided. We do not want to give CHW a bad rating here (even though we had to wait 11 days to get service) because we think that the delay was caused by Covid-19. Choice home warranty is the biggest waste of money. Could not be more disappointed! The lowest score it would allow was 2 stars, I would have left 0 stars if possible.
