Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

The technician assigned was excellent...Choice Home Warranty was NOT EXCELLENT. They denied the claim for a simple broken washer lid hinge, saying it could not have broken under normal w ear and tear. Silly decision, typical aftermarket/third party warranty company- always making you beg to get repairs covered. This was a simple, $150-$200 fix that could have been accomplished easily according to the A&E technician and he was shocked that CHW denied the claim.

The technician that came to the house was great, answered our questions and told us what was wrong.
The amount given to replace the dishwasher was very unacceptable and would not cover the replacement cost of any dishwasher available at wholesale or scratch and dent let alone at a retail store. Very dissatisfied with the outcome.
Don't use Choice Home Warranty they won't repair or replace my spring to my door of my dish washer that broke from normal wear and use. And my heat pump air handler unit fan wheel broke also from normal wear and use and they won't repair it either. I will be wanting a refund due to their piss poor service.

Per telephone conversation with your Rep., Albert, I agreed to try your company for my home warranty. Albert is a very polite, helpful & gave me a lot of information regarding the services you are offering to your clients & I'm so happy he gave me a program wherein I am able to save.
I have two outstanding claims that have been approved according to the website but for over two weeks I have an oven that doesn't work and my master shower unusable due to a problem with the temperature regulator. Have tried to call three times and every time get disconnected. This company is terrible to work with in terms of customer service. Have shelled out almost $4000 to them for nothing but hassles

Very prompt and helpful. Did an extra good job and gave me some valuable advice on the maintenance of my system.
Jon Grella from JRG Mechanical is great. He arrives when he says he will, does a thorough job exploring all possibilities for the problem and does his best to fix the issue. If he can't, he's honest about it and explains what is necessary.
Your operators need to quit sounding so robotic Other than that I'm very happy with my choice and with with this company I guess we'll see how it works if I ever have any problems with appliances and other things
Ordinarily I would have good things to say about Choice., but this time it is different. Filed a claim for a leaking faucet coming from the inside of my house to my back patio. Was told that it was not covered. Very unhappy. Appealed there decision without success. Make sure you read the contract before you purchase.
