Choice Home Warranty is a New Jersey-based company founded in 2008 which offers services contracts. Their plans offer protection against the cost of repair or replacement of major systems and appliances in the home via several plans. Each plan also offers optional coverage for septic systems, pools /spas, well pumps, sump pumps, central vacuuming systems, limited roof leaks, second refrigerators, and standalone freezers.

I've had Choice Home Warranty for about 3 years. I've had a total of 3 claims. They replaced the heating element on my dryer. My 5 year old refrigerator drain was clogged. It wasn't very bad but enough to cause ice to form on the bottom of my freezer floor. They also denied another dryer claim I had. They said lack of maintenance on both the dryer and the refrigerator. This is really my first time ever having a clog drain pipe. The guy that came offered to fix it on the side because he also has his own business. It also happens to be a maintenance company. You pay him 50.00 down and 30.00 dollars a month and he will come out every six months to "maintenance" your appliances. He... Read More
I've had Choice Home Warranty for several months now. I chose this company because of their low rates and low service call fees. You get what you pay for... They denied every claim I made claiming it was always something listed in their exclusions. Even when my microwave caught on fire, they said it was due to buildup...which is excluded apparently. Even when they deny a claim, you still must pay the service call fee. I ended up spending more money by filing claims with this company than I would have just calling repairs companies on my own.
This company is terrible! I have cancelled my contract and am looking for a new warranty company.

I have had no problems with you all. Every time I have called you all. Someone was here the next day and fixed the problem. when my microwave stop working and could not be fixed you replaced it.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
This company has a long history of denying legitimate claims, like my AC.
Do not trust their sales pitch, they do not follow through. Check them out on Ripoff Report!

Service was great. I was able to get my dryer fixed same day even with replacement parts required. Tech had everything needed on hand.
Does not cover AC very well, I am still waiting on a check for work I had done that the said they would not cover but still wanted to give me money for not changing. LOL burn me, right!
My name is Olyemphis Huff and I ask they you please do not use this company they are the worst ever I have been paying them for about 2 yrs and when my heater went out they came up with every excuse not to pay for repairs b/c they were way over the 100.00 authorization limit they have for the repair company. The company they sent out was PM something. They came out on last Tuesday and told me that they would order the part I needed and come back to install it in a few days. I then told the guy that I would be off on Friday so let do that day and he agreed. I filed a claim on July 2016 to get my washing machine fixed, today is October 31 and the washer still has not been repair. All I get from Choice is the run around and lot of excuses.

I have had several home warranty company throughout the years, but am very pleased with CHOICE. They immediately dispatch a technician, follow-up to make sure the appointment has been scheduled and finally, reaches back out to make sure the work was done to my satisfaction. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a home warranty company.
