They have no customer service at all! After you purchase their product they will not respond to your request for assistance. I called numerous times asking for assistance in getting my installation expedited from 4 weeks to the 2 weeks I was quoted. I never got a call back from the 2 customer service representatives or my sales person
Roger Adams. Do not spend your money on this company.
Bait and switch purchase! PLEASE beware! My elderly mother spent a LOT of her savings to have an installed stairlift as she is no longer able to navigate the stairs. The company committed to installation but after the system was delivered, realized they have no technician in our area. Over 45 days later and they will not accept nor return the dozens of calls my family has made. We are left with 4500. 00 of garbage and they promise to help, but have completely abandoned my poor mother. She already has physical limitations and this experience has caused her extreme mental distress, too. Ameriglide's customer base is 100% elderly or disabled and the literally do NOT CARE about what they have... Read More
Stay AWAY!!!!!Ordered a custom lift for my business in March that was supposed to ship in 6 weeks. In August after being strung along with and endless list of excuses and non communication, I had to pull the plug. I prepaid for it, so getting a refund was like pulling teeth. I couldn't open my business without the lift and was bleeding cash daily after Covid restrictions were lifted. Ameriglide didn't care at all that they put me to the brink of bankruptcy. Nick Stelmach and Tim Worley are two of the most incompetent people I have ever worked with in my career. Steer clear of this company!!!!! If I could give negative stars, I would.
I sent them a check for $4869.00. They cashed that check. My bank paid the cashiers check. Now they say they did not get the money. I have the completed check copy showing the transaction complete. They said the check bounced. A cashiers check does not bounce. It was paid in full. They are lying to me about the transaction and I have lost all patience with this charlatan company. I want my money or my product. I an a 74 year old veteran with stage 4 cancer. I do not have time for any more games. I hope my review puts them in receivership. Anyone who does business with these liars is foolish. Do not be ripped off by these people.
We bought from TJ at Ameriglide stairlift about 5 yrs ago For my 92 yr old parents ...the order was wrong and missing upgrades that we paid extra for... these extra parts are still not installed.... the installer was an amateur, his first instillation and it never worked right .... the chair keeps getting stuck at one end randomly and would not move....service is even worse after weeks of complaining the man shows up after many cancelled appointments by him ,dismantles few things orders few things and leaves without any explanation leaving behind bits and pieces ... service had no knowledge or explanation and till now we’re waiting since October of 2019 for them to send someone finish the... Timothy always made himself available prior to and through my purchase of the stairlift. Right after my purchase, my father became ill and passed away on September 8 even before I could install it so it sat in my garage unopened for approximately one month. I had called Timothy and left messages and emailed him of my situation and asked for option of returning the lift. He was responding like he was before the purchase and I tried several company numbers and they all redirected back to the sales representative, Timothy. When he finally responded, he told me he would run it up to management and asked for pictures of the boxes which I sent over immediately. I sent a follow up email and... Read More
Ameriglide is a fraudulent company! Twice I have ordered batteries, for my 90 year old Mother-in-Law's stairlift! Twice they REFUSED to send the batteries! When I call to ask why they REFUSE to send the batteries, they laugh and hang up! I then called several of the "store locations" ans was told that Jeff Sheffer - CEO - AmeriGlide, Inc. treats them the same way too! They cannot get any parts from the Raleigh, NC location and have to depend on jury rigging to satisfy their customers! I was also told that BatteriesPlus can get these batteries, which I have done. Jeff Sheffer - CEO - AmeriGlide, Inc. needs to have some people come to his home a teach him a lesson in customer... Read More
Great sales team, but when they get your money its over. I am a General contractor and Electrical contractor it TN., I purchased an outdoor elevator for a customer and all seemed to be going fine I told them it was a rush order to make a deadline, the response was if you pay in full when you order we will make it happen and pay for install. I wanted to install myself and they told me that that would not work that if I installed the elevator it would not be warranted, later they told me this was not true. I paid the full amount of the elevator, plus the 4700.00 install fee and all was set. I received a delivery date and was told it would be installed within a week of delivery, great if it... Read More
We live in OR state and when we needed a stair lift for my dad we thought no problem we will just buy it locally and be done with it. Of course, we went on line prior to calling the local companies and found out Ameriglide sold new stair lifts for self install for $1799 and installed them for $575. We then started getting quotes from local dealers for Bruno, Stannah, called Acorn, and even Easyclimber. We were shocked to hear the prices for what appears, with the exception of Stannah, to be very similar equipment. Acorn, $3000 plus, Bruno, $3000 plus, Easclimber just crazy at over $5000, and Stannah the top at $6,000. We called Ameriglide and talked with Sean Graham in AZ. He told me we... Read More
Bought one of their curved stairs lifts from the Raleigh NC store. We worked with Roger Adams and although it took over 30 days to get the lift made and installed we are so happy we did. The process took two trips to our home. One to measure the stair case and the second to install the lift. Our mother is now safe on the steps and she loves the lift. We can highly recommend both Roger and his company.
Overall for the price paid, I expected a system that was a little more refined, a lot of the components come together like an amature cobled this thing together in their garage to make it work. After installed it does work and seems to be adequately sturdy for its purpose. My lift arrived with the following problems: -Final Limit Error - I immediately called my sales rep Danny Efron for assistance and he quickly transferred me to parts, which went straight to voicemail, I left a message and now, 2 days later still no response. Apparently once they get your money they're out of the customer service business and you're on you own. Lucky thing I'm a retired... Read More
I paid $2,123 for a stair lift, I installed it according to the instruction sent with lift. IT DID NOT WORK, I called AmeriGlide 14 times along with the manufacture of product Harmar. I had to call another company to fix the item, and it took them 4 hours to make it work. AmeriGlide refused to pay to make the cost to make the item that I paid $2,123 for to actually work! Sad
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They do not care and told me it was my fault it did not work.
