For consumers who are accustomed to doing research online and comparing products and services, Mission Loan's website may be disappointing. The company offers little information on the refinancing, home equity loan, or home equity line of credit services it offers. We did find one article in the company's blog that compares home equity loans to cash-out refinancing, but it contained no specifics on loan terms and limits, interest rates, qualification standards, fees, and so on. We tried contacting the company to inquire about its services via an online chat feature offered on Mission Loans' website. We entered our question—do you offer refinancing products? In order to do so, we supplied a mobile phone number. But no answer was forthcoming. We were told that someone would get back to us via text. But 30 minutes later, we had not received a reply. This lack of transparency certainly gave us pause and suggested that Mission Loans had not transitioned to providing the digital experience customers today are looking for.
