The Progressive Corporation is one of the oldest and largest insurers in the country, providing auto, home, and property insurance policies. It does not provide life insurance products, but have partnered with a company called eFinancial, LLC, which functions as an aggregator of different insurers' life insurance products.

Based in Bellevue, Washington and started in 2001, eFinancial's website serves as a way for consumers to obtain quotes from several different insurers and compare them. Some of the insurers it works with are AIG, Fidelity Life, Penn Life, and Transamerica.

Although it says Progressive in its name and website, the life insurance products advertised under the name of Progressive Life Insurance are actually offered through eFinancial, an aggregator that draws from different insurers across the country. None of their products are actually affiliated with Progressive Corporation, which is only evident upon reading the very fine print on the page. eFinancial does, however, use reputable and very financially sound insurers that provide a wide array of final expense insurance policies. eFinancial also gets rave reviews on Trustpilot with customers praising their helpful customer service, speed, and efficiency. We strongly recommend that, if going through eFinancial (or any other aggregator for that matter) and when comparing the quotes it offers, potential policyholders read reviews for the individual insurers who are offering the quotes. In this case, many of the insurers eFinancial does business with are featured in our top ten list.
