RUN!!!! don't walk from this company. They are SCAM ARTISTS!!!! I wished I would have read the reviews before purchasing the warranty. First time using, the adjuster was in total agreeance to what happened and said it was 100% covered. Then they turned in a report that said differently. My transmission needed replaced. The flux wheel broke apart and busted other components; therefore, requiring a new tranny. They turned my claim down and would not give a direct answer as to why. The mechanic (a Ford Dealership) called and spoke with the "Claims department" many times also. He was just as baffled as the rest of us. Avoid at all Cost!!! I will start by letting you know I have been in the automotive industry for 26years and worked with brands such as Oldsmobile, Nissan, Suzuki, Toyota, and Lexus. I have definitely seen my fare share, but in all those years I have never personally dealt with an Extended Warranty company that is so vague and deceptive as Endurance has been. DO NOT BE FOOLED! I’d give 0 stars if that was an option. They sell you this insurance like it is the best thing ever, when in reality it is the exact opposite. We purchased our plan in July after purchasing our truck earlier this year and making the mistake of not getting a dealer warranty. We have now made the decision to sell our truck, and so we no longer needed the warranty plan. We called Endurance on October 28th to cancel, and we got connected with Jason. He was totally rude, interrupted me when I tried to speak, and kept saying the same things over and over. Endurance auto warranty BEWARE. The salespeople quickly become rude if you try to pin them down on a specific question. Maintenance records are the key. If you buy a used car without proper and complete maintenance records before your purchase, they can and will deny your claim. Even for major “covered” items. Their line, “We are not responsible for your decision to buy a car without the proper and adequate maintenance history”. That’s it. Simple Standard Legal Boilerplate. I wish I had read more of the comments before taking out this insurance. But, I trusted Richard Karn. I have paid for 3 months. Was my waiting period. That and 200 miles. I go to turn in a claim and was denied. Said it was a pre-existing condition. I thought that was what the 3 months was for. I did not know anything was wrong till I took my car in for oil change. BEWARE!!!!!
FAKE rating! Endurance is a disreputable company with the shadiest practices. They even have a fake help to tell people how to spot scams. THey are scammers in my opinion
Horrible and won’t give my full payment back in one day of signing up??
Agent said items were covered in their “Platinum” plan to get me to sign up and take my first payment. I then again asked the agent if these items were covered and she said yes and my full payment at that time could be refunded in the first 30 days. Then emailed me an exclusionary list after signing me up only to find out she lied. Now 48 hours later Endurance will not refund my total first payment and is trying to keep some $29 processing fee. Outrageous. Don’t give this company a dime. Now I have to go through my CC company and report them and their charges.
Not happy at all!! First Roadside Assistance said my co tract could not be located so I could NOT get a tow!! Then they refused to accept my repair centers hourly rate because he charged $25 less on a prior claim that was YEARS AGO!! So my take is that Endurance does not think inflation exists and that people shouldn’t rise prices to cover their increasing costs of doing business! My guess is they are all still paying less than $2.00 for a gallon of gas in 2024. Since no one should raise their rates!! Once this repair is complete I will be shopping for a new warranty provider!!
This company is horrible. Will not communicate with the customer. Cannot speak with a supervisor. They try to use after market parts to fix your vehicle. Stay away from this company. They train there adjusters to say nothing is wrong with your car during inspection so they don't have to pay
This extended warranty is a scam. They go out of their way to deny a claim. I highly recommend no one deal with this company. I wish i had never heard of them and wasted my money with them. I exceeded the one year time for an oil change by 10 days because i was out of the country. The car was 3000 miles under the recommended 10,00 mile change recommendation. This is a poor excuse for not honoring my repair.
I called to cancel my policy because I purchased a used vehicle not realizing an alteration had been done to it. I purchased the vehicle thinking it was originally sold the same way I purchased it. When I needed a repair, it was declined because there were "after market tires" on the vehicle. I called to cancel my policy, and the account person I spoke to was one of the rudest people I have ever had speak to me. Perhaps this gentleman felt it was okay to speak to me in that manner because I am a female, and he thinks I don't know anything about cars, but for a company that claims they will help you in any way possible, that is NOT what I found.
WORST decision I made going with Endurance. Your going to tell a dealership that the information on an engine rebuild or replacement is wrong?? Dealer has had our car for almost 3 months. They have had to chase someone down and call every day for 4 weeks to get a response. Then the dealership tells you what is wrong with the engine and you want it torn to verify it at $1,800 out of my pocket. They told you it was an engine issue. We gave you copies of our service records, it was not something we did~ You can bet I will tell everyone I know not to use this warranty company
Worse warranty company I’ve ever dealt with. Soon as you I had an issue with my rear differential even though I had commercial warranty coverage I was still declined . Then when I tried to get my money back they told be I couldn’t. So I wasted my money for a year thinking I had coverage paying them . I was better off saving that money and fixing it when it was needed. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worse enemy
The driver's seat failed in my car so I brought it to a local Honda dealer to get it repaired through Endurance. It says in my contract that this would be covered. They sent a third party inspector to take photos of the seat. I have no idea if they actually sat in the seat which would've quickly shown them that it was broken. Instead Endurance rejected the inspectors' photos and had Honda take photos twice, both of which they rejected. The back and forth was tedious with Endurance and the Honda service center which ultimately took three weeks. Bottom line I had to pay out of pocket $2,800 for the part and labor plus $1,600 for the car rental. This cost me $4,400!!!
i was informed leaks were covered. I had an oil pan leak and when the company evaluated it they said it would not be covered because the car was over 150000 miles my warranty is 5 years or 50000 miles which would cover me beyond the 150000 miles I have right now 183000 and the warranty has 42000 more miles to cover
I asked you for a list of businesses that accept dealing with you. I have not received a reply. Every dealer and car mechanic in my area I've asked have REFUSED to deal with you or ANY OTHER CAR WARRANTY business. I live in Ashburn in the northern Virginia area. Please send me a list of businesses that would agree to deal with you before I sign up. The reason they refuse to deal with you is because you don't make full complete payment for repairs done, and the car owner is eventually forced to pay the balance in order to get the car back. I bought the policy from endurance approx 3 months back and was told that almost every thing is covered. I went for my car service few days ago and came to know that there are issues with gaskets and the cost was 1600. I thought it will be covered and unfortunately Endurance denied, and gave a stupid reason that it's not covered standalone. Does not make any sense, it is part and can be damaged independently. Don't know how this is no 1 company when straight forward gaskets are not covered.
I haven't had a real need to use the warrenty until now ,oddly enough the contract is over in less then 2 weeks. And now with hic ups like;company agents taking over 5 days (weekends not included) to come "LOOK AT the work that is needed to be approved"/misspelled email information /agents that can't find correct contract data/,inability to open emails of receipts needed for rental car refunds////Why don't they just say; be glad we paid for your repairs but we will not refund your rental fees. ( I'm sure they blame it on the company transitions) And meanwhile every 4 days I 've received new contract offers from this same company(that's not gonna happen),, I suggest they send me my refund...
