Shower project signed up at Home Depot and financed through a Home Depot credit card with promise of 12 months no interest. Charged full amount day one. My old working shower was demolished a few days later along with a stained-glass window in my front door. Was waiting 6 weeks for shower pan. First statement arrived and in the fine print, the term was 6 months, not 12 months. Shower pan arrived but was broken by the installers. Now 3 months without a working shower and they missed last week's "install". No word why nor any new date.
Ordered new cabinets and refacing some existing in August 2023!! Cabinets are in but quality is questionable. Self closing mechanism doesn't work. Drawers in at an angle. Several other issues that indicate shoddy workmanship. POOR quality. I need my countertop and they keep promising to call to install but nothing so far...was told we'd have this complete between Thxsgiving and Xmas and that was a super long time but now I have guests coming on 12/24 and I'm still have no countertop/sinks n my master. Next time will use a local company. Little communication and keep being told the installers will call us...crickets!. Will be writing a comment on every website I can find to WARN others... Read More
Unfortunately, the poor rating is due to customer service. The installers were great and did a good job. On the last day when my shower head started leaking no one was able to fix the leak. We are on day 5 and the shower head is still leaking. They stated they ordered a new part and now waiting on the plumber to schedule the visit. Really? Day 5 and the leak is a heavy drip. Who is going to pay for my water bill? Frustrating and disappointed in customer service. Do not use statewide remodeling through Home depot. Issue still not resolved.
We contacted home depot to remodel our bathroom and from the time we signed papers to having them actually start the project it was march till august. then after many complaints that that it had been 5 months did they get started.. then sent 2 men to tear apart and when they actually started work only one guy.and a plumber who was only here a short time and didnt do a great job as he left things not done right.. and there was NO ELECTICIAN we had to hire our own to get things done.. They didnt finish the job as the guy that was here said he couldnt work near electrical area so we had to get our electrician and a drywall persont o finish the work before it was close to being done.. then... SIR was the service Home Depot uses for bathroom remolding, this was a terrible mistake on my part for using them. we have a small bathroom, after consultation we were told it would no more than 4 days. The project manager came out to measure he too said this would be quick, 3 days tops. But just incase between my husband and I we were able to set a 2 week block for them. they stared the project Aug.31 it was finally finished on Oct.8. they wanted us to find availability time on their schedule after the 2 weeks we had. We had to rearrange multiple Saturdays, when a new person would show up they had know idea what was gong on from one person to the next . the project manager didn't... Read More
Re bath removed our shower
3 months ago and never came back
In process of filing a legal complaint
Got a quote by the Home Depot's sole national contractor: Re-Bath. Absolute RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! $13K just to flip my shower???...have had 3 additional quotes for the same service and averages $5-7K. Makes me question Home Depots ethics!
