Helpful review of InfoTracer! For businesses needing reliable background checks, we use https://www.rapidhiresolutions.com/background-check-providers/. Thanks for breaking down the pricing and features—very useful for comparing services!
Information is years and years outdated, at best. After paying for the trial, I searched my own info using the license plates of my vehicles. Infotracer said my address for my daily driver was in a city I haven't lived in for over 10 years. The vehicle listed was a different make, model and type. Infotracer said the owner address for my other car was in a different state, the state I bought the car from 15 years ago. The info they provided for me was generally 10-15 years out of date, so it must be the same for any info I was searching for other people. Any positive reviews are fake. This is a waste of money. I had to file a chargeback with my credit card company because they... Read More
Received a minimal amount of information on an vehicle inquiry, which was basically useless.
I asked for a specific person's report, but got reports on everyone with the same last name, reports with every sex offender in his county (none with the same last name) and everyone who has money on file with the state. If I want any info on the person requested, I have to pay an additional $18. This is a true bait and switch scam and an untrustworthy site. How do you get away with this? This is the person that I wanted the contact info for, but after I paid, you site had nothing but his birth date. https://www.locatepeople.org/*******-******/california/
Completely useless! Makes you believe when you do a free search that they have all this information, but when you pay there is absolutely nothing! What little information that I was given was not even accurate as I searched myself and other known people. Junk! Do not waste your money!
Complete scam. I searched records on a person. Before I subscribed and paid, it showed that there were mugshots, and all type of record found such as arrest records, marriage records, divorce, criminal etc. It said it found this and that about that same person. I knew exactly what he has on his record, but was just curious about the mugshot. I paid, and it showed NO information available. Did a test using my name , the only thing it found was some old addresses, not even any of my addresses in past 2-3 years! Absolute SCAM!
I purchased a $1 5-day trial and immediately saw that it failed to find the info I was looking for. I canceled the trial via email the same day. I followed up the next day with a second email requesting cancellation. Five days later I was billed $19.95 for the continuation of the (cancelled!) service and have just now filed a dispute with PayPal.
I am so mad I was taken by this scam. Desperation is the mother of bad decisions and because I needed to get info on a person I lost my hard earned money in a matter of seconds. The person I wanted to search has an arrest warrant, traffic tickets infotracer did not show any. Clean record. The,person has been living in Palm Springs at The same address for 12 years, and it didn't even show the city. Most recent address was 15 years old. But they kept asking for more money for nothing. I tried to cancel to no avail. SCAM. Stay away from Infotracer.
This company engages in unethical and fraudulent practices. I could not get any information beyond addresses even though they had taken $20 of my money. They claim that you have unlimited access to information but you do not unless you have the premium subscription (another fee). They also claim they will give you information on someone if you send them information on that person by email but they would not respond to those requests.I tried calling "Amber" on the phone for a report on a person, and she never delivered even though one was promised. So for $20, I was unable to get the information myself, and was unable to get one-on-one help that is supposed to be available. Moreover, they... Read More
Waste of money. Much of the information was not accurate. The details of multiple people were included in a search and relevant information that should be easily available was absent. After you pay a fee they try to make you pay more for "premium" information.
I paid to gain access to a report and after the web page crashed it prompted me to pay again. After contacting support multiple times, they finally said the report was not available, even though I gave them THEIR report number from their website. Complete waste of time. At least they promised to refund my money. Hopefully they actually will.
Beware, this website appears to be paid to give high reviews. The info you get from infotracer is either old or non-existent. Sign in issues also
